This is one of the rare occasions I'm undecided about which version I prefer. The b&w has more contrast and grain and doesn't look as soft as this one which is good, but the softness correlates with the out of focus parts of the face. They are both interesting.

Though unorthodox DOF, this is a great portrait. It leaves a strong impression.
